Introduction:
Team members are an important part to every deal process. A good team is a team that has different individuals with different tasks and/or skills. A team member may be a trusted advisor, such as a CPA, bookkeeper, attorney, business broker, financial advisor, or M&A advisor. A team member may also be a trusted employee, such as a co-owner, manager, vice president, or director.
How To: Invite A Team Member
Steps to Invite A Team Member
Step 1: Navigate to the 'Users' tab on the Navigation Bar
- To invite a team member, navigate to the 'Users' tab on the Navigation Bar to the left of your Mavrek Deal Overview.
NOTE: If you do not see the 'Users' tab, make sure you have started a deal using the 'Start New Deal' button and select the deal in which you would like to invite team members.
Step 2: Select 'My Team'
- Select the 'My Team' tab under the 'Users' dropdown menu.
Step 3: Select 'Invite Team Member'
- Select the 'Invite Team Member' button in the top-right of your 'My Team' page.
- Enter the team member's name.
- Enter the team member's email. *
- Enter the team member's team role. **
- Customize the message or use the default message.
* If the team member already has a Mavrek account, invite the email associated with their Mavrek account. If you do not know whether the team member has a Mavrek account, ask before inviting. It is a good idea to notify team members that you will be inviting them to join your team prior to sending team invite.
** If the team member is a trusted employee, invite them under team role 'Trusted Advisor'.
SHORTCUT: You can also invite a team member from your Deal Dashboard in the top-right corner.
