The Business Profile is divided into four (4) main sections: Details, Operations, Finances, and Your Valuation. Whether you plan to sell a business immediately or within the next 12-24 months, the Business Profile should be maintained and actively updated for accuracy.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Business Profile - Operations

The 'Operations' section of the Business Profile is fairly straightforward. Enter the 'Facility Information' including number of employees, description of facility(s), business specializations, and barriers to entry. Describe the primary market location that the business serves. The 'Market Location' does not have to be exact. For example, if the business has customers in Orange County, CA and San Diego, CA, you can simply describe market location as 'Southern California region'.

Customer Demographic & Business Composition

Describe the 'Customer Demographic' to the best of your ability. For example, if the business is a restaurant, customers might include families, individuals, businesses (for corporate catering events), etc.

Describe the 'Business Composition' to the best of your ability. For example, if the business is a restaurant, business activities might include dine-in, take-out, catering, etc.

Direct Competitors

Describe the 'Direct Competitors' of the business. When you are searching and/or marketing to prospective buyers, you may add these direct competitors to your Suitor List as they may be interested in making an acquisition.

The 'Direct Competitors' included in the 'Operations' section of the Business Profile will not be included in the auto-generated Business Listing.
