The Business Profile is divided into four (4) main sections: Details, Operations, Finances, and Your Valuation. Whether you plan to sell a business immediately or within the next 12-24 months, the Business Profile should be maintained and actively updated for accuracy.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Business Profile - Details

Begin by completing the 'Details' section of the Business Profile. If you have any questions, the blue '?' help icons beside specific items have additional information.

You can also select the '?' Help Desk in the top-right corner of your Mavrek account for a Glossary, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and Mavrek Customer Support.

Ensure that the 'Business Category' (Business Industry) is selected accurately - this will contribute to 'Your Valuation'.

The 'Business Category' is selected from a list of NAICS codes (https://www.naics.com/search/).

Primary Contact Information

If you are the Trusted Advisor managing your client's deal, enter your name and contact information in 'Primary Contact Information'. If you are the business owner without an advisor at this time, enter your name and contact information as the primary contact. If you are the business owner, maintain confidentiality by only using your first name, personal phone number, and personal email.

Images

For confidentiality purposes, it is a good idea to use photos of the business without any revealing information that will allow a buyer to identify the business for sale prior to completion of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
